This is being provided as an alert to everyone in the Conkling Park area. There has been a reported sighting of a cougar in the vicinity of the Snyder Loop (South of the Marina) on Thursday evening at dusk.

"We saw a bear at our lot on Parkside this afternoon. The bear we saw looked like it was a cub, it was pretty small. The bear ran off up the hill as soon as it saw us."
